LOCAL BUZZ: Join us in our ongoing Local Buzz feature, where each Friday we bring you the story on an exciting business or event neighboring us here in the ever-inspiring Los Angeles Fashion District. Today, we explore Ace Hotel Los Angeles, the most sought after new destination for drinks, dining and a weekend stay or getaway.
Earlier this year, Ace Hotel Los Angeles opened just a block over from us here at LAShowroom.com. It has been exciting to watch the space become one of the most sought after destinations from locals and travelers alike. In fact, Conde Nast Traveler ranked Ace Los Angeles on their Hot List for The Best New Hotels In The World.
For locals, the appeal is in the dining and drinking. Starting at 7AM, the Coffee Counter at Ace Hotel Los Angeles is open for business, serving delicious Pacific Northwest Stumptown Coffee. Right next door is L.A. Chapter, a brasserie featuring local and organic, high quality food. From 7AM – 3:30PM you’ll find delicious breakfast and lunch items. Dinner is served from 6PM to 11PM. Head a floor up to the Mezzanine, which provides different menus and capacity for larger parties. Of course, the crown jewel of the scene is the rooftop bar, which features breathtaking views of the LA cityscape.
Along with these amenities, out-of-towners will appreciate minimalistic yet modern décor of the wood-floored rooms with options ranging from small to suite. For anyone coming to visit the California Market Center for market week or trade shows, you couldn’t find closer, more convenient lodging. Patrons are also eager to experience the historic United Artists building, which was built back in the 1920s for the United Artists film studio. The building contains a gorgeous theater with a large lobby, balcony and mezzanine. Ace Hotel Los Angeles is proud to host movie premieres, concerts and other live events here.
So, from comfort and convenience to drinks and dining to history and culture, Ace Hotel Los Angeles is the place. Whether you are visiting for an evening out our an extended weekend stay, it’s definitely a place to experience.
