As the last trend in Cotton Incorporated’s Fall/Winter 2014/2015 trend forecast, Extreme explores the modern day adventurer and the idea of our everyday lives being consumed by pushing boundaries. This trend asks the question, “Are we living this way simply to get noticed, or is there self-satisfaction by perilously flying so close to the edge of reason?” Join us as we examine our wholesale clothing apparel selections which relate to this trend.
The Extreme color palette is a collision of provocative brights mixed with reliable shades of navy, grey and white. In keeping with the Extreme lifestyle concept of pushing boundaries, Extreme clothing combines edgy styles with over-the-top colors or fabric finishing. Below you can see Extreme selections from LA Showroom’s wholesale clothing apparel vendors.
Our first Extreme item is from the wholesale clothing apparel selection of TDC. Their dark wash denim pant appears to be completely traditional from the back yet the front view makes a statement with deconstructed stripes running up both legs of the jean. Next up is a dark wash, burnout top from Urban X. This finish provides dimension to any color garment, but the Smirk pink shade combined with cut-out details on the upper arms gives this V-neck top an edge. Continuing with bright pink, Caribbean Queen is selling a bold hued jumpsuit in Magenta that combines a sweetheart neck and delicate pleating at the waist to provide an easy fit.
Naked Zebra is an wholesale clothing apparel manufacturer best known for boutique blouses and dresses with unique styling details. Their shawl collar blazer also fits this description with a perforated hem, plus the Cerise red color really makes this blazer pop. 36 Point 5 is selling quite the Extreme crop top. Their scoop neck lame top is available is silver, gold and shiny black and is sure to bring excitement to your customers’ wardrobe. Scream is a neon green shade in the Extreme color palette that is a perfect transitioning color between the spring/summer and fall/winter seasons. The Scream green halter top, also from Naked Zebra, has an athletic feel with contrast piping. Pair this top with a Storm Grey or Deep Navy bottom to add some brightness to your cool weather merchandise mix.
To highlight a more elegant side of Extreme, we chose a full-length, Muted white lace dress from Faisca. The romantic dress, with mermaid hem and pearl embellishments, is perfect for an upscale occasion. Or, it can be dressed down with a chunky knit and fall boots. Our next selection showcases the on-trend item, the tea length skirt. Mono B, is offering this popular lady-like silhouette with a creative twist by using stone wash denim as the base fabric. Popular wholesale clothing apparel manufacturer, Timing, provides the last wholesale clothing apparel selection for Extreme. Here we see a unique take on an animal print. The sheer button-up top has a spotted print on the upper bodice and sleeves that is reminiscent of dalmatian puppies. This is a print sure to bring a smile to all and a great update to polka dots.
We hope you enjoyed reviewing the innovative color palettes and exciting trends from Cotton Incorporated’s 2014/2015 color card as much as we did. Stay tuned for more trend forecast spotlights and on trend wholesale clothing apparel from LA Showroom.
